Onboarding

The minimum age required to open a trading account is 18 years old. The company does not accept applications from under aged clients.

Opening an account with us is easy peasy! Just follow these steps:

  1. 1. Visit https://empirefx.com and click "Open an Account."
  2. 2. Choose "Create an Account" or "Sign up with Google" for a faster option.
  3. 3. Follow the steps in the Client Portal to complete your application and upload the required documents.
  4. 4. Submit your application, and we'll review and verify your account within few minutes.

  2. Step 2: Employment Details: Share your current employment information.
  3. Step 3: Financial and Trading Background: Provide a brief overview of your financial background and trading experience.
  4. Step 4: Upload Documents: Complete the process by uploading the necessary identification documents.

🔑 Proof of ID

Provide a clear, colored copy of your passport or national ID (front and back) with all corners visible. Accepted formats: PDF, JPEG, or PNG.

The Know Your Client (KYC) process is a regulatory obligation where we conduct due diligence to verify the client's identity. This is done to protect both the client and the company against financial crimes, such as money laundering, identity theft, and terrorism financing.

Missed the final step during account opening? No problem! Here's how to upload your documents:

Log in to your Empirefx Client area via https://my.empirefx.com/kyc

Navigate to the Verify Identity section.

You'll be redirected to Step 4 to attach your documents.

Attach your Documents as guided and click Finish.

📌 Tip: Please ensure your documents are uploaded in the required format.

Your account is usually verified in just 5 minutes. If further information is needed, verification will be completed within 24 hours of receipt.

No, in order to be able to deposit and start trading, you should first fully verify your account.

Just so you know, you are only allowed to have one registered account.

Don't worry, we've got your back! When your documents expire, we'll send you a friendly email reminder and a notification to upload the latest version. Sometimes, we may ask for extra documentation just to ensure everything checks out.

For Unverified Accounts: On your https://my.empirefx.com, you can easily update details like Name, Last Name, Address, City, Postal Code, Country, Date of Birth, and Phone Number. Just hit the Update button, and boom! you're done!

For Verified Accounts: On your https://my.empirefx.com, you can update your Password or Email. Need to change Names or Date of Birth? No worries, just email our support team at [email protected], and we'll take care of it.

Once your account is verified, you'll receive an email notifying you that your account has been approved.

A tax or taxpayer identification number (TIN) is a unique identifier used for tax reporting purposes.

Empire FX needs your TIN in order to comply with CRS regulations.

TINs can usually be found on various types of documents depending on their issuing country.

Yes we do. A joint account is owned by two account holders and can be traded on by either or both parties. Please contact [email protected] to provide you with the relevant forms.

The required documentation to open a joint account includes: proof of identification and address for both applicants.

Once your account is verified:

🎯 Step 4: Start Trading — The moment you've been waiting for! Dive in, pick your instruments, set your preferences, and let the trades begin.

Troubleshooting

  1. 1. Ensure that you have filled in all the required fields on the registration form and that your country is eligible for registration.
  2. 2. Clear your browser cache or attempt to log in using a different browser.
  3. 3. Verify your internet connectivity.

Possible reasons for difficulties with uploading files:

  2. 2. The file format is unsupported.

Proof of Identity Issues:

  1. 1. The document is expired or invalid.
  2. 2. It doesn't include your name or photo.
  3. 3. A coloured copy or both sides were not provided.
  4. 4. The document is unclear or missing some corners.

Proof of Residence (PoR) Issues:

  1. 1. The document is older than 6 months.
  2. 2. It lacks your full name or address that matches your ID.
  3. 3. The document doesn't show a valid issue date within the required timeframe.

We'll always notify you via your Client Area or email, explaining the reason for the rejection and the next steps.

Your email address might be rejected in the following cases:

  1. 1. Already Registered: If your email is already in our system, it may be rejected when you try to register again.
  2. 2. Mismatch or Unverified Email: Your email may be rejected if it hasn't been verified or if the email used for registration doesn't match the one you're trying to log in with.

✅ Double-Check Your Mailbox: Ensure you're logged into the correct email account.

🔑 Verify the Email: In the password reset box, confirm you've entered the email address you used to register.

📂 Check Spam/Junk Folders: Sometimes, the email might land there — be sure to take a look!

📬 Review Inbox Restrictions: Ensure there are no domain restrictions blocking the email.
